ACE IN THE HOLE: Freshman Avery Jordan will look to improve on her second collegiate 6K race when she ran a 24:58.54 time at the Berry Invitational on Oct. 13. The Charlottesville, Va. native finished in 41st place, but against Division III runners, she claimed an 11th place finish.
SEEKING THE P.R.: After running a 25:42.78 time at Berry, Ann Chapman Haynes will look to running a personal best at the SAA Championships. The sophomore ran a 25:17.0 time at the 2017 NCAA South/Southeast Regional Championships.
TAKE IT HOME, ASH: Averaging 28:33.63 in 8K races in 2018, Ash Midyett has improved his average in such races from a year ago, recording a 28:36.2 average time of finish. At the Berry Invite, he shattered his previous season-best by over 90 seconds with a 27:19.69. With this honor, he was named the SAA Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week.
JACK-IN-THE-BOX: Jack Barganier has improved his time in each of the three 8K races he has competed in. At the Berry Invitational, he came across at 27:45.68, 20 seconds ahead of his personal best.
