SEWANEE, Tenn. - Freshman swimmer Lee Haber has been tabbed this week's Tiger of the Week following his performances in the pool last Saturday at Rhodes.
The Atlanta, Ga. native won two events, the 200-yard individual medley and the 200-yard breaststroke, and helped win the 400-yard freestyle relay to come-from-behind and beat the Lynx in a dual meet, 103-101.
In the 200 free, Haber swam to a winning time of 2:00.86, while tallying a 2:12.61 mark in the 200 breaststroke.
In 2017-18, Haber currently holds the fastest time in the 200-yard freestyle, swimming to a tune of 1:45.67 at Transylvania in December. He also holds the fastest times this season in three other events the 200-yard breaststroke (2:09.05), the 100-yard individual medley (56.44 seconds), the 200-yard individual medley (1:56.87) and the 400-yard individual medley (4:09.01).
Haber and the rest of the Tigers return home for the conclusion of the 2018 schedule Friday afternoon. On senior day, the Tigers will entertain Birmingham-Southern, beginning at 3 p.m.
