MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The Sewanee men's lacrosse team was unable to keep a first half lead, as the Tigers were downed by the Lynx of Rhodes College, 12-7, Sunday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-After Rhodes opened the scoring 58 seconds into the game, Sewanee scored four of the final six goals of the opening quarter to lead 4-3 after 15 minutes of play.
-However, the second half of the contest belonged to the Lynx. The home team held the Tigers scoreless in the final 30 minutes on 15 shots as they scored seven goals to secure the contest.
RHODES KEY STATISTICS
-Karl Van Blargan scored four times, while Christian Cisneros recorded five points on two goals and three assists.
-Cameron Link (10-3) saved 12 shots in full time between the pipes.
With the regular season in the books, the Tigers will turn their attention to the SAA Tournament. Earning the four-seed thanks to a three-way tie for second place, the Tigers will host five-seed Birmingham-Southern on Saturday. Time will be determined.
