TEMPE, Ariz. - The Intercollegiate Tennis Association has announced the listing of ITA Division III All-Americans. Senior Clementina Davila has been selected as one of the women's singles student-athletes.
The Mexico City, Mexico native finished her final season with the Tigers with a 15-4 singles record and a 19-7 doubles record.
For her career, the ITA Atlantic South's Most Improved Senior finished with a 49-28 record in singles play and a 70-35 mark in doubles.
Davila finished 20th in the final Oracle/ITA national rankings, earning her a spot on the ITA All-Americans list. Appearing in two NCAA Singles Championships her junior and senior year, she earned an All-American selection in doubles play with partner Lindsey Liles during her sophomore year, posting a 27-4 mark and a No. 5 ranking nationally.
In 2018, the three-time All-Southern Athletic Association First Team selection finished 16th nationally in doubles with partner Catherine Owen. The duo posted a 19-7 record and finished as a semifinalist at the ITA Regional Championships this past fall.
The Sewanee women's tennis team finished the 2018 season ranked 12th nationally with a 22-5 record overall en route to its sixth consecutive SAA Regular Season and Tournament crown.
