BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Sewanee softball team suffered a setback to Birmingham-Southern on Friday night, as the Panthers defeated the Tigers, 10-0.

-Birmingham-Southern scored in each inning on Friday night, leading 7-0 after two innings of play.

-Caroline Sweetin (0-10) allowed seven earned on eight hits in two innings.

BIRMINGHAM-SOUTHERN KEY STATISTICS
-Haley Crumpton (21-5) tossed her first career perfect game with an 11-strikeout performance on 72 pitches.

-Abby Spencer, Kendell Hamm and Abbey Bice each recorded two hits, while Fisher scored three RBI.
