GAMBIER, Ohio - The Sewanee men's tennis team were unable to rally in singles action, falling to 25th-ranked Kenyon, 5-3, Sunday afternoon at the Jasper Tennis Center.

-Kenyon earned the match advantage in doubles, winning two of the three. Andres Carro and Jordan Brewer avoided the shutout with an 8-1 victory over Bryan Yoshino/Peter Hazlett at No. 2 doubles.

-Trailing 3-1, Sewanee earned wins at the No. 4 and No. 2 singles positions to tie the match at three, but Andres Carro fell in three sets to Austin Diehl to push the deficit back to 4-3 with the five and six spots left.

-The Lords clinched the victory with a 6-4, 6-2 win at No. 5 singles.
