Men’s Golf Improves to No. 11 in Latest Bushnell/Golfweek Coaches Poll

NORMAN, Okla. - The Sewanee men's golf team went up one spot in the latest Bushnell/Golfweek Coaches Poll, announced on Friday by the Golf Coaches Association of America.

The Tigers finished the rain-shortened Callaway Gardens Collegiate seventh out of 18 teams last week.

According to Golfstat's Relative Ranking, the Tigers are 11th in the country in relative ranking and fifth in the South region.

The team is averaging 294 strokes per round, which is a seven-over-par average.

The next poll will be released on Friday, March 30.

The Tigers will next compete this weekend at the Jekyll Island Collegiate. The three-round tournament begins on Friday.
