SEWANEE, Tenn. – Graduating Seniors
Jeremy Character (Marietta, Ga., Wheeler) and
Steffi Renninger (Darnestown, Md., Sidwell Friends)highlighted the Sewanee athletic graduation awards this year, earning the Barron Cravens Cup for outstanding male athlete and the Outstanding Female Athlete Award, respectively. Character is a four-year letterwinner in both football and track and was multiple time All-Conference in both. He also received the Michaux Nash Award for outstanding performance in men’s track and field. Steffi Renninger earned two letters in basketball before devoting her time to lacrosse, in which she was a two-time All-Region selection and an IWLCA National Senior All-Star.
