SEWANEE, Tenn.
  4/3/10 – The DePauw Tigers defeated the Sewanee Tigers in two SCAC softball games played today at Sewanee.  DePauw came away with an 11-0 win in the first game and defeated Sewanee 27-0 in the second.

 

Alex Ginsburg (Hollywood, S.C., Pinewood Prep) picked up Sewanee’s only hit in the first game of the doubleheader.  Carly Warfield (Nashville, Tenn., Ensworth) was charged with the pitching loss.

 

In the second game, Lindsey Ward (Lutz, Fla., Academy at the Lake) went 2-for-2 and Virginia Zakas (Atlanta, Ga., Westminster) and Caitlin Sneeden (New Providence, N.J., New Providence) chipped in one hit each.  Warfield was the losing pitcher.

 

Sewanee is now 0-13 overall and 0-12 in SCAC play.
