SEWANEE, Tenn. – The Sewanee men’s tennis team hosted Washington and lee Wednesday afternoon at the Bruton-Guerry tennis Center and the Generals topped the host Tigers 7-2. Sewanee seniors
Michael House (Huntsville, Ala., Randolph School) and
Jeff Lepley (Raliegh, N.C., Cardinal Gibbons) were honored for Senior Day during their last home match.
House and
MItchell Henry (Wellesley, Mass., Wellesley) picked up Sewanee’s doubles win, while
Anthony Lioce (Huntsville, Ala., Randolph School) scored Sewanee’s other point with an 11-9 tiebreak win after split sets.
The Tigers are 11-11 and heading to the SCAC Championships in Little Rock this weekend.
