SEWANEE, Tenn. – Sewanee senior hurler
Greg Bartleski (Charlottesville, Va., Covenant) has been named SCAC Pitcher of the Week and also Tiger of the Week for his performance the weekend of March 6-8, 2010.
Bartleski pitched a whole-game shutout and only scattered three hits in Sewanee’s 10-0 rout of SCAC foe Centre College on Saturday. He struck out nine batters and only walked two. Incidentally, Bartleski pitched Sewanee’s last shutout, which was a 2008 win over Newbury College.
