Tiger Tennis Hosts Kenyon, Women Pick Up Home Win

SEWANEE, Tenn. -- Sewanee hosted Kenyon in Division III tennis on Sunday. The sixth-ranked Lords topped Sewanee 9-0 and the #27 Sewanee women topped the visiting Ladies 6-3. The Sewanee women fell back 2-1 after doubles and then rallied, winning five of six singles matches. Laura Szyperski (Atlanta, Ga., Lovett) and Lindsay Wilburn (Hilton Head, S.C., Hilton Head Christian) picked up Sewanee's doubles win, while Jenny Liles (Little Rock, Ark., Mount St. Mary), Michelle Flume (San Antonio, Tex., St. Mary's Hall), Julia Wood (Tulsa, Okla., Union), Devin Tellatin (St. Louis, Mo., Ladue) and Wilburn took home singles wins for Sewanee.

The Sewanee men are 4-3 so far and the 27th-ranked women are now 5-3. Both teams will travel to California for Spring Break next week.
