MURRAY, Ky. -- The Sewanee Equestrian Team tied for fourth place at Murray, Ky. Sunday with the University of Tennessee (25 points) behind the High Point Team MTSU, Reserve Champion Team Vanderbilt University and third placed host college Murray State University. Sewanee finished the regular season with the overall IHSA Zone 5, Region 1 Hunter Seat Championship Team.
Lindsay Maxwell (Atlanta, Ga., Westminster) won the 2010 IHSA Zone 5, Region 1 High Point Rider of the Year. The win automatically qualifies Maxwell to compete in Cacchione Cup class at the 2010 IHSA National Horse Show in Lexington, Kentucky. This will be Maxwell's second time winning the High Point Rider award after winning it in 2008.
