MURRAY, Ky. -- Sewanee won High Point Team honors Saturday with forty points over Reserve High Point Team Middle Tennessee State University at the IHSA Zone 5, Region 1 horse show hosted by Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky. The win gives Sewanee a fifty-three point lead over MTSU for Regional Champion Hunter Seat Team.
Kaylee Beachamp (Birmingham, Ala., Altamont) won Reserve High Point Rider of the day.
Martha Cook (Oak Ridge, Tenn., Oak Ridge) in the Novice Flat,
Hunter Bratton (Raleigh, N.C., Ravenscroft) in the Intermediate Over Fences, and
Veronica Phillips (Durham, N.C., Cardinal Gibbons) in the Intermediate Flat qualified for the 2010 IHSA Zone 5, Region Regional Championship Horse Show.
