DURHAM, N.C. -- Hamilton College earned a 15-3 win over Sewanee in a non-league men's lacrosse game played at Duke University on Wednesday.
Hamilton came out strong scoring four goals in the first quarter, while Sewanee came up with one. The Continentals added five more goals in the second quarter. Sewanee scored once to make the score 9-2 at the half. Hamilton scored two goals in the third quarter, and continued to stretch its lead with four more goals in the fourth. Sewanee scored just once more in the fourth quarter for the final 15-3 tally in favor of Hamilton.
Sewanee is now 0-6 and will host Oberlin on the Mountain on March 27 before opening SCAC league play against Birmingham-Southern on March 31.
