SEWANEE, Tenn. – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association announced it’s national All-Academic Teams this week and both the Sewanee men and women were honored. To earn the award, a team must have a team GPA of 3.10 or higher. The Sewanee men had a 3.3 and the Tiger women had a team GPA of 3.27.
“The Cross Country team continues to carry on a tradition of strong work in the classroom,” said Sewanee coach Jeff Heitzenrater. “I am really proud of their academic achievements this past fall.”
