BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- Sewanee played its last 2009-10 road game at Birmingham-Southern Sunday and Birmingham-Southern picked up the 82-71 SCAC win after leading 40-31 at the half.

Lauren Gulley (Winchester, Tenn., Franklin County) led Sewanee's effort with 25 points and Logan Miller (Franklin, Tenn., Christ Presbyterian) was also in double digits with 11 points. Dani Kabbes (Chesterfield, Mo., Villa Duchesne) had 12 points and also led the Tigers with six rebounds. Alex Adams had a double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Panthers. Defensively, Sewanee had 16 steals on the day. Birmingham-Southern was 44% good from the field and Sewanee was 35% accurate.

Sewanee is now 6-15 and 2-11 in the SCAC. BSC is 11-10 and 6-7. The Tigers will host Maryville in nonconference action Wednesday before hosting Depauw and Centre this weekend.
