BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- Sewanee faced Birmingham-Southern in SCAC men's basketball action and after trailing 24-13 at halftime, fell to the host Panthers 58-41.
Brett Bouldin (Crossville, Ala., Crossville) led Sewanee with 11 points, while fellow freshman
Tyler Brown (Goodlettsville, Tenn., Beech) chipped in nine.
Trent Williams (Lawrenceburg, Tenn., Lawrence County) led Sewanee with seven rebounds. Roger Williams led the Panthers with 11 points. Birmingham-Southern had a 41-30 edge in field goal percent and each team had 36 rebounds.
Sewanee falls to 4-17 and 1-12 in the SCAC with the loss and will host DePauw and Centre next weekend. BSC is 18-3 and 10-3 in the league.
