CHATTANOOGA -- Sewanee played at Tennessee Temple Tuesday and fell 80-60 to the host Crusaders. Temple led 39-30 at the half.
Garrett Hollingsworth (Roanoke, Va., North Cross) led Sewanee's effort with a season high 22 points, including a 11-15 record from the field.
Zack Mulligan (Lynchburg, Va., VES) was also in double digits with 10 points. Hollingsworth and
Sam Martin (Ringgold, Ga., Lakeview-Ft. Oglethorpe) led with six rebounds each. Temple was 43% good from the field, while Sewanee made 39% of its field goals. Sewanee out-rebounded the Crusaders 40-37.
The Tigers are 4-20 and will play at Oglethorpe in SCAC ball on Saturday to wrap up the 2009-10 season.
