CONWAY, Ark. -- Sewanee played at Hendrix Sunday and the host Warriors topped the visiting Tigers 83-59 for the SCAC men's basketball win.

Freshmen Lewis Affronti (Virginia Beach, Va., Norfolk Academy) led Sewanee with a career high 22 points and fellow newcomer Tyler Brown (Goodlettsville, Tenn., Beech) crashed the boards with 11 rebounds. Dayton Sheridan led the Warriors with 22 points. Hendrix made 50% of its field goals, while Sewanee was 34% good form the field. Sewanee led 42-34 in rebounds, though.

Sewanee is 4-15 so far and 1-10 in the league. The Tigers will play at Rhodes and Birmingham-Southern next weekend. Hendrix is 6-11 and 3-8 in the league.
