2009 Women's Lacrosse: Sewanee Nips North Central
Page Carpenter had four goals and an assist for Sewanee on Sunday.
St. LOUIS, Mo. – Sewanee faced North Central in St. Louis on Sunday and after leading 10-3 at halftime, picked up the 19-9 women’s lacrosse win.

Page Carpenter (Baltimore, Md., St. Paul's School for Girls) led Sewanee’s offense with four goals and an assist. Steffi Renninger (Darnestown, Md., Sidwell Friends), Megan Velie (Charlottesville, Va., St. Anne's- Belfield) and Julia Anne McKeachie (Charleston, S.C., St. James) each had three goals and Renninger also contributed two assists on the day. Amy Frazzini led North Central’s scoring with four goals. Amy Nusbaum (Norfolk, Va., Norfolk Academy) had 15 saves in goal for Sewanee.

The Tigers are 7-4 so far in 2009 and will play Birmingham-Southern in two weeks.
