FULL WOMEN'S RESULTS


GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Sewanee competed at the 2009 South/Southeast Cross Country Regionals on Saturday and both the Sewanee men and women finished 15th of 27 teams.

 

Chris Hague (Kensington, Md., Bullis) highlighted the Sewanee men’s effort with a 17th place finish of 174 runners with a time of 27:55 in the 8k event – Good for All-Region honors. Andrew Jolley (Morristown, Tenn., Morristown West) was the second Tiger finisiher with a 58th place finish of 29:28.

 

For the Sewanee women, Mitzi Harrington (Warner, N.H., Dana Hall) was also All-Region with a 24:58 finish in the 6k race, which earned her a 27th place finish. Sarah Haroldson (New Bern, N.C., St. Andrew's) also stood out with a 52nd place time of 25:56. Kendra Tippens (Winston, Ga., RS Alexander) was 67th with a 26:19 finish.
