Sewanee Falls to #6 Trinity

SEWANEE, Tenn. -- Sixth-ranked Trinity came to the Mountain Sunday and topped Sewanee 8-0 in SCAC men's soccer play. Trinity led 3-0 at the half.

Trinity led in shots taken 16-4 and had two corner kick opportunities. Chris Grover (Collierville, Tenn., St. George's) started in goal for Sewanee and had four saves. Patrick Johnson and Jacob Truitt split time in goal for Trinity.

Sewanee is now 8-9 in 2009 and 4-5 in the SCAC. The Tigers will play at Oglethorpe and Emory next weekend. Trinity is 8-0 in the SCAC so far and in first place.
