SEWANEE, Tenn. 10/31/09 – The Sewanee Tigers closed out the 2009 regular season by dropping matches to Piedmont and Huntingdon. Piedmont took a 3-0 victory. Sewanee extended Huntingdon to five sets, but fell 3-2

Huntingdon 3, Sewanee 2 (16-25, 26-28, 25-18, 25-11, 15-9)
Sewanee's record drops to 3-27 on the season.
The Tigers will compete in the SCAC tournament next weekend at Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, Georgia. The 11th seeded Tigers will take on #6 Centre College on Friday morning at 11:30 am.
