GREENCASTLE, Ind. -- Sewanee played field hockey at DePauw on Saturday and the host DePauw Tigers shut out the purple Tigers of Sewanee 2-0 after a scoreless first half.
Bridgette Shamleffer and Kimberly Trainor scored DePauw's goals.
Emily Detmer (Denver, Colo., Pomfret) played in goal for Sewanee and had nine saves. Liz Attewell earned the win in goal for DePauw.
Sewanee is now 6-10 and 1-7 in the SCAC. They will play Lindenwood on Sunday.
