Young Volleyball Team Looking for Success Under New Head Coach
First year Head Coach Jessica Cortese knows that the season ahead holds many challenges for the Tiger Volleyball team. A talent-laden conference, a schedule with only five home games, preseason injuries, and a young squad are just a few things the Tigers will deal with over the course of the season. But Cortese and the Tigers are looking at these challenges as a way to only help the team rebuild quicker and stronger and they’re facing them head on.

Sewanee Announces YSR Booster Club
From the legendary football team of 1899 to the teams of today competing in national intercollegiate tournaments, Sewanee has a long tradition of excellence in varsity athletics. Now there's a new way for Tiger fans to show their support. The University of the South is happy to introduce the YSR Club, an annual membership organization that will support the athletic program and enhance athletics overall at Sewanee.

Sewanee Has 64 Named to the SCAC Academic Honor Roll
SUWANEE, Ga. -
The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) announced its Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll today for the 2009 fall term and a record 780 student-athletes made the list. Since its inception in the fall of 1997, just over 15,500 male and female student-athletes have been recognized for their contributions in the classroom. Sewanee had 64 student-athletes named to the list.
